2022 Toyota Tundra

vs 2022 Chevrolet Silverado Limited in Ruston, LA

Big news: The all-new 2022 Toyota Tundra is here, and it's better than ever. You can expect a whole lot of luxury and comfort in one rugged looking pickup truck, with available features like heated and ventilated seats, leather-trimmed seating and steering wheel, a heated steering wheel and more. You can also look forward to dependable performance on even the toughest jobs — and we know you're going to be tackling some tough jobs with this pickup. It can take on anything with a standard i-FORCE 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine and available 4WDemand part-time 4-Wheel Drive. Eco, Normal, Sport and TOW/HAUL driving modes are also available to add to your burly pickup, so those all-terrain adventures might become your new normal. With plenty of luxurious style and performance features to go around, the all-new 2022 Toyota Tundra should be your next vehicle upgrade.

Unless, of course, you've been swayed by the loud advertising of the new 2022 Chevrolet Silverado Limited. This full-size pickup truck may seem like an equal contender, but let's look at the facts below. (You may want to change your mind now.)

We didn't have to dig deep to find the differences in features between these two pickups. What we discovered right away is that the all-new 2022 Toyota Tundra is in a league all of its own. Sporting an available hybrid engine, the Toyota Tundra not only promises high numbers in horsepower and torque, but miles per gallon as well. The Chevrolet Silverado Limited does not offer an available hybrid engine, nor does it offer a power tilt/slide panoramic roof, rain-sensing washer-linked variable intermittent windshield wipers and Road Sign Assist. Yikes. All three features can be added to your Toyota Tundra, including the JBL® Premium Audio System with 12 speakers (five more than the Chevrolet Silverado Limited pickup's Bose® Premium Sound System with only seven speakers).

You have to decide what's most important to you. If you want a vehicle that excels in hybrid performance, convenience, safety and tech, we'd recommend the 2022 Toyota Tundra over the 2022 Chevrolet Silverado Limited any day. Are you ready for your test drive?
